Full Draw: Ren

It's been awhile since I've done a pencil sketch to digitally colored portrait.  Originally my 3.5 D&D Lawful Neutral Ranger, he's since been converted to 5e Ranger/Paladin.  

He also shares a namesake with my Guild Wars 2 Thief/Daredevil because I liked the name so much.

The original recording was 3 hours long, but has since been condensed to about 30 mins.

Elementalist Commission

My first commissioned character painting of a Guild Wars 2 character!  This Elementalist is played by the awesome Julie and another friend of ours asked me to do this for her birthday. 

And a gif of the painting process throughout.  The staff was the hardest part.

Painting Study

Painting study and brush stroke practice.  Photo was taken at one of the parks in Kitsap county, WA and I thought it was a nice simple one to start with combining a solid brush with a few textured ones to get the moss like detailing.
